New Exora model at only RM57,548
PETALING JAYA: The Exora Basic model, to be launched tomorrow (21.11.2009), is expected to contribute 5% of the total Exora sales volume by the financial year ending March 30, 2010, said Proton Holdings Bhd managing director Datuk Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamad Tahir.
The new variant seven-seater multi-purpose vehicle will be available at all Proton Edar and EON branches nationwide from tomorrow. Customers can book it for a RM500 fee.
Available only with manual transmission, the Exora Basic comes in three colours - genetic silver, tranquilty black and solid white.
The solid white colour model will be sold at an on-the-road price of RM57,548 in Peninsular Malaysia and RM60,148 in east Malaysia.

The genetic silver and tranquility black metallic models are each priced at RM57,998 in the peninsula and RM60,598 in east Malaysia.
The Exora, first launched on April 15, has made its debut in Indonesia and Singapore. Proton reportedly planned to launch the MPV in Thailand by December. - Bernama

Proton Exora To Hit Thai Market
Bangkok: With over 7,000 of its cars already on the road, Proton is set to launch its maiden multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) Exora in the Thai market at the Thailand International Motor Expo next week.
Based on initial feedback from the media and industry experts, Phranakorn Auto Sales general manager (operations) Apichart Wangsatorntanakhun said they were expecting a good response from Thai buyers.
“We took more than a dozen journalists to test the Exora in Malaysia. Exora received excellent reviews from the media, as well as those who came for discussion with us and saw the car at our showroom,” he said in an interview here.— Bernama
